Accommodation details

On arrival you will find the accommodation modern, clean and comfortable with the beds already made up. Accommodation includes: 

 

Families Welcome - Cots, high chairs and stair-gates (already fixed to wall) are available, most guest like to bring their own cot bedding. If you would like bedding for the cot just drop us a line.

 

Downstairs

Kitchen, with dining table - fully equipped including a dishwasher, 'washer/dryer', Dualit coffee maker,  microwave, electric cooker, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, a small chest freezer, ironing facilities. We provide many of the basics you require for your holiday such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths, toilet rolls, salt, pepper, tea & sugar.

 

Sitting room- Free-standing oil fired cast iron stove, 2 double sofas, Colour Satellite TV ('free-sat' & Netflix) with DVD player. Wire-less broadband (5MB),  DAB radio with Bluetooth facility.

 

Central heating with all heating charges included in your weekly rent. A selection of books, games and DVDs are also provided.

 

Cloakroom -with WC and wash hand basin.

 

Upstairs

Bathroom – Double ended bath (taps in the middle) chrome mixer shower over bath, wash hand basin and WC. Towels are included

 

2 bedrooms - sleeps 4.  One bedroom with a king-size bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The ‘Laura Ashley’ Victorian style beds are already made up on your arrival. All bed linen is provided: Duvets & covers, sheets, pillows & covers. Flat screen TV on wall of double bedroom.

 

Please note; Due to the old character of the house, the bedrooms are inter-linked – going through the first bedroom with King-size bed reach the twin bedroom with 2 single beds.

 

Outside

Ample private parking. Direct access onto large lawns and ¼ acre enclosed garden and a Zip Wire

 

You are welcome to walk anywhere on the farm including the 35 acres of bluebell woodland, parkland and hayfields. Ideal for picnics.

Plas yn Iâl is a working farm and you are welcome to watch the lambing and other seasonal activities.

                                                    Access Statement

 

  • Plas yn iâl is located at the end of a tarmac drive that runs from the main road (A5104) through open parkland:

  • There is a gate at the bottom of the drive, off the main road, which may be closed. A further gate leading into the gravelled front of the accommodation may also be closed

  • The parking for the accommodation has a gravel surface. There is a 10metre gravel path to the front door of the accommodation. There is one step up from the gravel path to the front door.

  • The floor level to hall, downstairs WC & kitchen are on the same level. There are 2 steps from the kitchen into the lounge.

  • Access to the first floor is via 15 steps that consist of: up 10 steps, plateau, left, up 2 steps, plateau, left, up 2 steps – onto the landing.

  • Door off landing to Bathroom: shower over bath.

  • Door off landing to bedroom with double bed, door through to bedroom with twin (two single beds).

  • Access to the twin room is through the double.        

  • There is good mobile phone reception for Vodafone, Orange & T-Mobile (O2 and Tesco is poor)
